I had the honor to shoot my friend Nancy and John’s engagement session last weekend. It does help me preparing my session if I know more about my subjects. Nancy is from San Francisco. John is from Kansas City. They met in Dubai for work. Nancy moved to Kansas City for him a couple years ago. John proposed to her after taking her on a short pilot lesson in a private airport. They want the theme to be “Flying over 2 Cities”. They already had a photo taken in front of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and want to take some photos in a famous location in Kansas City, which they picked Union Station. Remember the two cute little boys from Little Rocket Birthday Party? Phoenix and Xavier are finally back for their birthday portraits. Phoenix just turned 1 and Xavier just turned 7. The brothers were born in the same month. Although they are 6 years apart, the brothers are very close. Phoenix is an obedient baby, now turning to a good toddler. Xavier is a such a caring older brother and also a handy son. He is so good at taking care of little brother Phoenix as well as helping mommy bargain for good prices. Three months already went by this year. This is my third Project 10×12 post. I am making an exception this month. Instead of sharing 10 photos, I am showing 12 photos. Did I mention that I also have a passion in music? When I was young I had a dream to become a professional singer… I used to have a pretty wide vocal range and can sing very high pitch. I used to sing, record, and mix my own songs in my home studio. I have over 100 songs recorded in different languages, including English, Chinese Mandarin, and Chinese Cantonese. Here‘s one of the songs I recorded that used in last year’s review video. I was the runner up of a local idol singing competition. These all become history after my thyroid surgery 3 years ago.
